PDF Weight X-Ray

Breaks down a PDF's file size by what's actually consuming it — images, embedded fonts, page content — and calls out the single heaviest contributors and any asset that's been embedded more than once by mistake. Processed entirely in your browser; the file never leaves your device.

FAQ

Why doesn't the breakdown add up to exactly the file's total size?
The difference is plain PDF structure — object headers, the cross-reference table, dictionary syntax — which is real but not something any single "category" owns. For an image-heavy or font-heavy PDF, this is usually a small fraction of the total.
Does this measure the decoded image size, or the file size?
The file size — the actual number of bytes each stream takes up on disk, already compressed. That's what explains why the file is however many MB; a fully decoded pixel count wouldn't match what you're actually looking at in a file browser.
