- Why does this work better on people than objects?
- The AI model behind this tool was trained specifically to recognize people — the single most common background-removal need (portraits, profile photos, headshots). It can still attempt other subjects, but expect rougher edges outside that tuned case.
- Why does the result come back as a PNG, even if I gave it a JPG?
- PNG is the common format that supports transparency, which is the entire point of the result — a JPG has no alpha channel to hold a transparent background.
